ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টি (মার্কসবাদী)-এর পলিট ব্যুরো ইডির হাতে দিল্লির মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এবং আপ-এর জাতীয় আহ্বায়ক শ্রী অরবিন্দ কেজরিওয়ালের গ্রেপ্তারির তীব্র নিন্দা জানায়৷

স্পষ্টতই, মোদি সরকার এবং বিজেপি তাদের সরকারের কর্মক্ষমতা, দুর্নীতিমূলক কর্মকাণ্ডের প্রকাশ এবং নির্বাচনী বন্ডের বিস্তারিত তথ্য প্রকাশের ফলে জনগণের ক্রমবর্ধমান ক্ষোভ নিয়ে আতঙ্কের মধ্যে রয়েছে। তাই তারা প্রতিহিংসামূলকভাবে বিরোধী নেতাদের লক্ষ্যবস্তু করছে।

কেজরিওয়াল 'ইন্ডিয়া' ব্লকের দ্বিতীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যিনি গ্রেপ্তার হলেন। ভারতীয় সংবিধান এবং গণতন্ত্র রক্ষার জন্য আসন্ন নির্বাচনে বিজেপিকে পরাজিত করার জন্য প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ সমস্ত বিরোধী নেতাদের লক্ষ্যবস্তু করা হচ্ছে, অন্যদিকে যারা দল পাল্টে বিজেপিতে যোগদান করেছে তাদের সুরক্ষা দেওয়া হচ্ছে, পুরস্কৃত এবং পৃষ্ঠপোষকতা করা হচ্ছে।

সিপিআই(এম) এর পলিট ব্যুরো দেশের সমস্ত ইউনিটকে দিল্লি সহ দেশজুড়ে ঐক্যবদ্ধ প্রতিবাদ কর্মসূচীতে যোগ দেওয়ার আহ্বান জানায়।

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) strongly condemns the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister and National Convenor of AAP, Shri Arvind Kejriwal by the ED.

Clearly, the Modi government and the BJP are in a panic over the growing disenchantment of the people with the Modi government’s performance, disclosures of its own corrupt practices and exposures of electoral bond details. Hence, they are vindictively targeting opposition leaders.

This is the second Chief Minister belonging to the INDIA bloc to be arrested. All opposition leaders who stand committed to defeating BJP in the forthcoming elections in order to safeguard the Indian Constitution and democracy are being targeted, while those who defect and join the BJP are protected, rewarded and patronized.

The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) calls upon all its units to join the united protest actions in Delhi and across the country.
