জেপিসি চেয়ারম্যানের নির্লজ্জ একতরফা মনোভাব

ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টি (মার্কসবাদী)-র পলিট ব্যুরোর বিবৃতি

ওয়াকফ বিলের জন্য গঠিত যৌথ সংসদীয় কমিটির (জেপিসি) চেয়ারম্যানের পদক্ষেপের তীব্র নিন্দা জানাচ্ছে ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টি (মার্কসবাদী)-র পলিট ব্যুরো। জেপিসির চেয়ারম্যান একটি তুচ্ছ কারণ দেখিয়ে সমস্ত বিরোধী দলের সদস্যদের, যারা সরকারের মতামতের বিরোধিতা করেছিলেন, কমিটি থেকে বরখাস্ত করেছেন।

সংসদীয় প্রক্রিয়ার বৈধতাকে ক্ষুণ্ন করার জন্য এর থেকে নির্লজ্জ পদক্ষেপ আর কিছুই হতে পারে না, বছরের পর বছর ধরে বহু নজিরের মাধ্যমে পরিষ্কারভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত এবং শক্তিশালী হয়েছে এই যৌথ সংসদীয় কমিটি।

সিপিআই(এম) এর পলিট ব্যুরো গণতন্ত্র এবং সংসদের সার্বভৌমত্বকে মূল্য দেয় এমন সকলের প্রতি আহ্বান জানায় যে তারা ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে এনডিএ সরকারের এই নির্লজ্জ পদক্ষেপের বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়ান এবং প্রতিরোধ করুন।

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:

JPC Chairman’s Brazen Unilateralism

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) strongly disapproves of the move by the Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) for the Waqf Bill. The Chairman of the committee has chosen a flimsy ground to suspend all the members of the JPC belonging to opposition parties and who were opposed to the government’s views.

Nothing could be more brazen to undermine the legitimate parliamentary process through the committee system which has been so clearly laid down and reinforced over the years through precedents.

The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) appeals to all those who cherish democracy and the sovereignty of the Parliament to rally unitedly to oppose and resist such brazen acts of the NDA government.
