প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে লেখা সিপিআই(এম) সাধারণ সম্পাদকের চিঠি

ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টি(মার্কসবাদী)- এর সাধারণ সম্পাদক সীতারাম ইয়েচুরি আজ ভারতের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদিকে তাঁর যোগাযোগ যন্ত্রগুলির রাষ্ট্রীয় মদতে নজরদারি সম্পর্কে অ্যাপেল- সংস্থার পাঠানো সতর্ক বার্তার বিষয়ে নিম্নলিখিত চিঠি লিখেছেন। সেই চিঠিটি এখানে প্রকাশ করা হল।

মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী,

এখানে আমি একটি সতর্কবার্তা যুক্ত করছি যা আমি গতকাল রাতে পেয়েছি। এখানে স্পষ্টভাবে বলেছে "এ্যাপেল বিশ্বাস করে যে আপনি রাষ্ট্রীয় মদতপুষ্ট আক্রমণকারীদের দ্বারা লক্ষ্যবস্তু হচ্ছেন যারা আপনার এ্যাপেল আইডি-এর সাথে সম্পর্কিত আইফোনের সাথে দূর থেকে নজরদারি ও নিয়ন্ত্রণ করার চেষ্টা করছে।"

এটি ভারতের সংবিধান দ্বারা সমস্ত নাগরিকদের জন্য নিশ্চিত করা মৌলিক অধিকারগুলির একটি গুরুতর লঙ্ঘনের নিদর্শন। একটি নজরদারি রাষ্ট্র গণতন্ত্রের পরিপন্থী।

আমার কাজ একটি খোলা বইয়ের মত এবং লুকানোর কিছুই নেই। তাই, এই ধরনের নজরদারি এবং আমি যে যন্ত্রগুলি ব্যবহার করি সেগুলিতে বাইরে থেকে ঢোকার জন্য চেষ্টা করার অর্থ কেবলমাত্র আমার ডিভাইসে কিছু তথ্য বাইরে থেকে রোপণ করা এবং তারপরে এই ধরনের সাজানো উপাদানের ভিত্তিতে আমাকে দোষী সাব্যস্ত করা।আপনার নেতৃত্বাধীন এই সরকারের সময়কালে কেন্দ্রীয় সংস্থাগুলির চরম অপব্যবহার দেখে, এমন সম্ভাবনা খুবই বাস্তব মনে হয়। ভারতের সংবিধান সমুন্নত রাখার শপথ নিয়ে আপনি প্রধানমন্ত্রীর পদে দায়িত্বভার নিয়েছিলেন। উল্টে এই সময়কালে গণতন্ত্র ও নাগরিকদের গণতান্ত্রিক অধিকারের চরম বিনাশ ঘটছে। এটা কোনমতেই গ্রহণযোগ্য নয়।

এই বিষয়ে আপনার প্রতিক্রিয়া প্রত্যাশা করা হচ্ছে।

Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has written the following letter today to Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on the Apple alert he received about the State-sponsored snooping of his communication devices. We are herewith releasing the text of the letter for publication.

Dear Prime Minister ji,

Attached is an alert that I received last night which explicitly states “Apple believes you are being targeted by state-sponsored attackers who are trying to remotely compromise the iPhone associated with your Apple ID.”

This constitutes a gross violation of the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution of India to all its citizens. A surveillance state is the antitheses of democracy.

My work is an open book and there is nothing to hide. Hence, such snooping and the accessibility to remotely access the instruments that I use can only mean that the intention is to remotely plant some information on my devices and then to incriminate me on the basis of such planted fabricated material. Given the gross misuse of Central agencies by this government headed by you, such a possibility is very real.

Your assumption to the office of the Prime Minister was under oath to uphold the Constitution of India. Instead, there is a gross destruction of democracy and democratic rights of citizens. This is unacceptable.

Your response on this matter would be appreciated.
